In 2024, as part of our Youth Engagement Project supported by OKEY, we reached over 200,000 young people through initiatives focused on Safe Relationships and Holistic Health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The year-long activities were launched around November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women<\/strong>, and continued throughout the 16 Days of Activism<\/strong>. They were further expanded around key dates such as December 1 (World AIDS Day)<\/strong> and December 10 (Human Rights Day)<\/strong>, concluding on December 31, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Throughout the campaign, young people gained knowledge and awareness on topics including gender equality<\/strong>, safe relationships<\/strong>, dating violence<\/strong>, combating violence<\/strong>, and safe sexuality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Activities were carried out across T\u00fcrkiye and Cyprus<\/strong>, in the following cities:
Adana, Ad\u0131yaman, Ayd\u0131n, Ankara, Antalya, Bal\u0131kesir, Bolu, Bursa, \u00c7anakkale, \u00c7orum, Denizli, Diyarbak\u0131r, D\u00fczce, Erzurum, Eski\u015fehir, Gaziantep, Giresun, Girne, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, K\u0131rklareli, K\u0131r\u0131kkale, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Mersin, Mu\u011fla, Ni\u011fde, Rize, Sakarya, Samsun, \u015eanl\u0131urfa, Van, Yalova, Yozgat, and Zonguldak.<\/p>\n

Through awareness-raising booth activities<\/strong> conducted at 72 different universities in 38 cities<\/strong>, we reached 114,000 university students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Through conferences, symposiums, and seminars held at 35 universities in 12 different cities<\/strong>, we engaged with 8,000 young people<\/strong>.

By supporting 6 Voluntary Counseling and Testing Centers (VCTCs)<\/strong> in 5 different cities<\/strong>, we reached 6,000 individuals<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

16 civil society organizations and student clubs\/networks<\/strong> were supported, and through the activities held around December 1 (World AIDS Day)<\/strong>, over 73,000 young people<\/strong> were reached.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As part of the activities, TAP Foundation\u2019s resources on Safe Relationships and Holistic Health<\/strong>, Safe Sexuality<\/strong>, and HPV<\/strong> were shared alongside posters, brochures, and stickers<\/strong> designed by volunteers from the University Youth Engagement Program, reaching their peers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
