In this context, two of our partner organizations in Eski\u015fehir\u2014the <strong data-start=\"186\" data-end=\"231\">Eski\u015fehir Metropolitan Municipality (EBB)<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"240\" data-end=\"279\">Refugee Support Association (MUDEM)<\/strong>\u2014redefined their fieldwork as part of a joint partnership and, with the support of the <strong data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"384\">French Embassy<\/strong>, implemented a project targeting women living in rural areas. We congratulate our partners not only for integrating this empowerment-focused education program into their own work but also for taking it a step further by co-designing and successfully implementing a joint project, setting a strong example of sustainability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"1540\">On <strong data-start=\"713\" data-end=\"729\">May 16, 2024<\/strong>, we participated in the closing meeting of the project titled<br data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"794\" \/><strong data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"912\">\u201cEnhancing the Sexual and Reproductive Health of Turkish and Refugee Women Living in Eski\u015fehir Through Education,\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"915\" \/>implemented in partnership with EBB and MUDEM. The initiative, which began in 2021, lasted for <strong data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1023\">28 months<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1043\">three phases<\/strong>. A total of <strong data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1076\">644 participants<\/strong>\u2014<strong data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1102\">399 women and 113 men<\/strong>\u2014attended <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1127\">90 sessions<\/strong>, each lasting 90 minutes. Half of the participants were Turkish citizens, while the other half were refugees, predominantly of Afghan origin. The sessions covered topics such as <strong data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1394\">Knowing Our Bodies, Women&#8217;s Health Issues, Fertility Regulation, Hygiene, and Gender<\/strong>.
