In 2024, as part of our Youth Engagement Project supported by OKEY, we reached over 200,000 young people through initiatives focused on Safe Relationships and Holistic Health.
The year-long activities were launched around November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and continued throughout the 16 Days of Activism. They were further expanded around key dates such as December 1 (World AIDS Day) and December 10 (Human Rights Day), concluding on December 31, 2024.
Throughout the campaign, young people gained knowledge and awareness on topics including gender equality, safe relationships, dating violence, combating violence, and safe sexuality.
Activities were carried out across Türkiye and Cyprus, in the following cities:
Adana, Adıyaman, Aydın, Ankara, Antalya, Balıkesir, Bolu, Bursa, Çanakkale, Çorum, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Giresun, Girne, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kırklareli, Kırıkkale, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Mersin, Muğla, Niğde, Rize, Sakarya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Van, Yalova, Yozgat, and Zonguldak.
Through awareness-raising booth activities conducted at 72 different universities in 38 cities, we reached 114,000 university students.
Through conferences, symposiums, and seminars held at 35 universities in 12 different cities, we engaged with 8,000 young people.

By supporting 6 Voluntary Counseling and Testing Centers (VCTCs) in 5 different cities, we reached 6,000 individuals.
16 civil society organizations and student clubs/networks were supported, and through the activities held around December 1 (World AIDS Day), over 73,000 young people were reached.
As part of the activities, TAP Foundation’s resources on Safe Relationships and Holistic Health, Safe Sexuality, and HPV were shared alongside posters, brochures, and stickers designed by volunteers from the University Youth Engagement Program, reaching their peers.
